Let Us Heal is a survivor-led nonprofit organization committed to ending secondary victimization by transforming the systems that re-traumatize survivors of domestic violence, sexual trauma, and coercive control.
Through trauma-informed education, institutional reform, and survivor-centered advocacy, we equip communities, professionals, and policymakers to recognize, prevent, and repair harm. So every survivor has the right to heal in safety, dignity, and power.

The Let Us Heal framework is grounded in five core design principles that integrate trauma science, leadership development, and social justice:
Survivors are co-designers, not subjects. Every initiative is created with and led by survivors to ensure authenticity, empowerment, and accountability.

All programming prioritizes safety, trust, and collaboration. Educational materials, advocacy spaces, and institutional trainings are structured around the neurobiological realities of trauma and healing.

The framework addresses how identity factors—such as race, socioeconomic status, disability, and sexual orientation—shape trauma experiences. Solutions are designed to be inclusive, accessible, and culturally adaptive.

Healing is viewed as a societal obligation. Scalable models support institutions in developing survivor-safe policies, accountability systems, and trauma-responsive cultures.

Storytelling is used as a corrective force to reframe survivors as credible leaders rather than damaged victims. Ethical media partnerships and survivor-led campaigns shift public perception and foster empathy.

Let Us Heal is a global, survivor-led movement transforming trauma into leadership and silence into systemic change. Founded by Dr. Christy Wise—a survivor of both abuse and secondary victimization—Let Us Heal exists to dismantle the institutions, narratives, and cultures that re-traumatize survivors and protect harm.
We believe that healing is not passive—it is an act of resistance.
And when survivors rise, they don’t just heal—they lead.
Through our trauma-informed Let Us Heal framework, we provide free healing programs, leadership training, institutional reform, and public education to shift how society responds to trauma—at every level.
Our mission is bold:
To end secondary victimization.
To build survivor-safe systems.
To reimagine healing as collective, cultural, and catalytic.
We are not just supporting survivors.
We are building a world they can thrive in.
